Always having a camera with me is like Marshal Dillon always having his gun, ready to shoot in an instant. Making interesting photographs has always ben my avocation since an early age. The contents of this gallery, are the results of my recent photographic ramblings.

Bruce Lukaszewicz (BELphotos) > This appears to be a 1940's Maytag washer. Possibly a Model N 'Chieftan'.
Bruce Lukaszewicz (BELphotos) > 1941 Pontiac Custom Sedan - This vehicle is just wasting away in New Jersey. The chrome seems to be the only casualty of rust.
Bruce Lukaszewicz (BELphotos) > You just never know what will catch your eye as you drive down the road. Always have a camera and be ready to shoot.
Bruce Lukaszewicz (BELphotos) > During the construction of Hoover Dam there were few jobs that equaled the high visibility of the high scaler. A man hanging hundreds of feet in the air on the side of a deep canyon, knocking away loose rock and setting dynamite charges with a jackhammer sparked romantic images of courage and daring.

In 1995, local sculptor Steven Liguori and Hoover Dam Spillway House concessionaire Bert Hansen decided to create a bronze high scaler statue in the likeness of Joe Kine, one of the last surviving high scalers who worked on the Hoover Dam project. A clear picture of Joe Kine existed showing him in his working environment and was used as a guide to create the bronze figure. Upon completion the statue was presented to Joe on September 30, 1995, Hoover Dam's sixtieth anniversary.

Bruce Lukaszewicz (BELphotos) > BOO !!! - Something for your dreams tonight.
Bruce Lukaszewicz (BELphotos) > In the upper photo, I caught this young couple whale watching at the bluffs near the tidal pools at Pt. Loma in San Diego. I then waved frantically across the canyon for them to sit closer and pose, which they graciously did for me. The above composition is the result.
