The photos in this gallery were made at Willie McCool Memorial Model Air Field, located in the City of North Las Vegas Nevada. The airfield and the surrounding 160 acre park, was dedicated in 2004 to honor Captain Willie McCool, the pilot of the seven-person crew of the Space Shuttle Columbia team. McCool and his crew died when the shuttle disintegrated upon re-entry into the Earths atmosphere in February 2003.
The RC enthusiasts shown here fly a wide range of equipment such as, helicopters, single wing and small jet aircraft. Unfortunately, the jet aircraft was not here the same day that I made these photos. The very last photo is a short movie; no special software is required to view it.
If you decide to purchase one of my photos the copyright is removed, color is corrected where necessary and the photo may be cropped to enhance the main subject.
