Bruce Lukaszewicz (BELphotos) > This Nikon F body (7313809) and FTN head (798415) are both circa 1970. They were purchased at MiniFilm in NYC when they were located in the Statler Hilton Hotel, across from the new Garden. Unfortunately, the boxes are long gone.

All three pieces, body, head and lens, are in excellent condition with some minor normal wear and tear. Since this was my first Nikon, I treated it like a baby. The rubber pads rotted as they did on all of these types of cameras and were replaced by an old time photography mechanic.

The FTN head meter is functional and in working condition. You can no longer get the original Mercury batteries. However, there is a replacement type available. You will find a photo of the replacement type at the end of this gallery. The camera has been stored with the batteries out of the unit. Whatever you see in these photos is included in the package.

The Vivitar flash unit still works and was also stored minus the AA batteries. The extra lenses are also fully functional.

I am selling this as a package. It just does not seem right to separate all of this equipment; the components were carefully selected with budget and functionality in mind. Ideally, this would make a nice gift for a very interested beginner who is learning the finer aspects of the photography craft. This is also a nice addition for a serious collector.

Included:
Nikon F body; Nikon FTN head w/batteries; Nikon 50mm lens, Set of three close-up lenses, Skylight filter, rubber lens hood; Nikon hard case; Vivitar flash; Accura Diamatic YS 1:2.5 105mm lens (2.5 -> 22); Soligar C/D 1:35 80-200mm lens (3.5 -> 22), 62mm UV filter, rubber lens hood.
